WASTE MANAGEMENT

  • research works on individual processes in units, where these processes occur for solid wastes (mainly industrial ones),
  • research works on grain classification processes in screens, grinding processes in crushers and mills, physical processes of waste materials separation in pulsating water jet, i.e. on concentrating tables and jigs,
  • research works on waste separation with use of physical characteristics of grain (size: supplementary diameter, specific gravity, etc.) in heavy uniform liquids and heavy suspension liquids, and further, research works on waste selection methods with use of their elasticity, friction characteristics (roughness of surface and shapes) and thermal susceptibility to changes in characteristics (viscosity) of their surface,
  • research works on separation processes with use of magnetic susceptibility characteristics in magnetic recuperators,
  • research works on thermal utilization of wastes, with particular consideration given to pyrolysis, analysis of combustion gases and gases created during thermal utilization of wastes, as well as research works on neutralization and utilization of recyclable wastes produced in the process of a thermal utilization of prime wastes, with particular consideration given to solidification.

Study and theoretic works are conducted for development of new computer programmes, which could be used to design waste treatment process stations for liquid waste, combustion gases and for waste utilization under defined technologies.
