The next meeting of the wood-furniture sector entrepreneurs of the West Pomeranian region has been a success. During the two-day workshops, the businessmen discussed development of precise plans for activity of the wood-furniture cluster and giving it a formal status. The participants decided to form an association and made a preliminary draft of its status. A letter of intention will be signed soon.
The workshops were led by Mr Bogdan Kępka – an animator of clustering from company Eko Marketing, Warsaw.
The vice-Marshall of West Pomerania, Mr Władysław Husejko, took part in the meeting and presented a Regional Operating Plan and opportunities, which result from it for the business of our region.
Possibilities of funding trainings and subsidizing employment in the companies by the European Social Fund were presented by director of the Voivodhip Office of Employment, Mr Andrzej Przewoda.
Mr Heropolitański (a press journalist) delivered some information on the art of public presentations and contacts with medias.
Rev. Dir. Dariusz Łokietek from the Salesian Society Vocational Schools,
Ms Barbara Szyperska from the Institute of Construction Technology and the Head of the Institute of Production Engineering from the Koszalin University of Technology, dr hab. eng. Jarosław Plichta, associated professor, presented an offer for cooperation in organization of practical trainings, apprenticeships and expert opinions.
The Koszalin University of Technology, in the persons of Ms Anna Bartenowska and Mr Wojciech Zawadek (representing the Park of Technology and Research),become the animator and coordinator of the formalized cluster.
